"There comes a time in one’s life where you decide you need to make a change. For me, I was in a place where I found comfort in food and ate what I wanted, when I wanted. That is something for me I could only do for so long as I never felt better after what I ate and I desperately needed a change. I was following Amanda on social media for so long, always feeling so inspired when she spoke her truth. Everything she said resignated with me, and her words and advice came from such a caring place. I knew she was the positive change I needed.
When I first met with Amanda, she listened and understood where I was coming from. She made me feel so comfortable and unashamed. We spoke about the cravings I had and what my challenges were- I was not making time for the gym and I was often lazy when it came to preparing healthier meals. I gave her my weekly routine as I am very busy with my work and social life, and we found and scheduled times I could meal prep and take a fitness class. Amanda was so motivating and encouraging, she even offered to attend a class with me!
After our initial meeting, Amanda handed me a two-week meal plan which included: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks throughout the day and healthy desserts to attack my sweet tooth. There was no way I couldn’t follow this… not only did she provide the meals, but she created a grocery list so I knew what to buy and it saved me time on creating one myself! I had full recipes and ingredients on everything I was making. Honestly so easy. All the recipes were delicious and super simple to make.
After only 2 weeks, I noticed results instantly. Not just in my appearance, but how I felt on the inside. I never had that sick, disgusted, full feeling after a meal. I have to say I have tried many diets, but this plan I would never consider a “diet”. This is a new way of life for me, and one I plan on sticking to and incorporating long term. There is no turning back at this point when eating this way is so simple to achieve.

Amanda put together a protocol for me which really helped me understand the “why’s” of why I should be eating certain foods and I went into my meal plan feeling informed.
